about
Eric-jon wrote this track in Boston in 2011 about using the end of the world as an excuse to sleep with attractive friends. It is heavily influenced by the dubstep genre. Similar songs combining pop structure and vocals include Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me," Alex Clare's "Too Close," and Katy Perry's "E.T. ft. Kanye West." In that same year, he met fellow rapper, Brooke Villanyi in the Boston music scene. They collaborated on a few projects before Brooke moved to L.A. to vigorously pursue her own music career. She recorded her vocals on the west coast and sent them east to be included in the song.
lyrics
You, me got all we need.
Let's make love.
Time is out.
There's nothing to think about.
Let's Make Love on the dance floor.
Two Zero One Two ends with me and you
So let's go out with a BANG BANG.
The World's gonna end and I know we're just friends but you might as well sleep with me.
Two Zero One Two ends with me and you
So let's go out with a BANG BANG.
'Cause the World's gonna end and I know we're just friends but you might as well sleep with me.
Don't wait.
Don't hesitate, the world could end right now.
Let go. Let me take control.
It's time to cum and go.
I hope you don't mind I'm not Mayan; I'm gonna make you mine as the world is dying.
Have a glass of wine and raise up your glasses, i think you're so fine when you're shaking that ass, but I have to tell you girl that, indeed, I would be happy at the ending of the world if you're the last thing I see. So let's get you comfy and do everything that you ever wanted to do and listen to the whole world sing.
Strobe lights in my eyes giving me convulsions, trying to get to you before apocalypt-exp-loe gin and tonic in your cup. Let me fill it up for you. If we're going down, then, let me break it down for you: I don't got a minute to waste so let me grab your waist and make haste 'till we're interlaced. And in the case that everything is erased - the very floor we dance on defaced, and we got no place to stay, we could sell them on the stars of the milky way; be eachother's only gravity like interacting energies - yin and yang - we could create a new world with a BIG BANG, heh.
